Detailed commentary on statistical items
I will explain the main items of "statistics" displayed on the right side of the screen after logging in to cPanel.
About load status
The various numbers displayed are not the load status of the entire server you are using. It is the usage status of the resources allocated individually to the customer.
There is no way for customers to check the load status of other users.
Please check mixhost Status for server failure status.
CPU usage
View the CPU usage allocated to your account. The CPU usage limit (100%) is the maximum allocated to your account, not the maximum of your host server.
If the CPU usage is high, the processing speed will decrease and it may take time to display the website.
What causes high CPU usage?
Please refer to the article below.
How to check when CPU or memory usage (utilization rate) is high
Also, consider upgrading to a higher plan.
entry process
Displays the number of processes used to run PHP, CGI, Cron, SSH, etc. in your account. It is incremented by 1 when a new process is started and decremented by 1 when a process exits. A well-run account is unlikely to hit the entry process limit.
High CPU usage can slow things down and result in more entry processes.
If the entry process limit is reached, the creation of new processes is restricted, usually with a 508 error.
If the customer cannot terminate the process (the kill command is also restricted and cannot be executed), we will forcibly terminate all processes, so please contact us through the inquiry form.
Physical Memory Usage
Shows memory usage by processes in your account. Physical Memory Usage also includes an in-memory disk cache.
If the disk cache is used and memory is insufficient, the disk cache will be released and no error will occur.
The disk cache can be caused by various things such as creating and editing web pages, uploading photos, web conversions, database processing, etc. It is normal behavior of the server to use disk cache as much as possible when memory is free.
This operation is also necessary for the website to be displayed at high speed.
If the limit of memory usage by a process is reached, it will automatically stop the process and usually display a 500 or 503 error.
If Physical Memory Usage is chronically insufficient and errors occur frequently, please consider upgrading to a higher plan.
Number of processes
It is the total number of processes and threads used in the account.
If the upper limit is exceeded, the creation of new processes and threads will be restricted.
I/O Usage
View data throughput usage within your account. When the limit is reached, the process will go to sleep and will not be stopped, but it will slow down.
Reads from the disk cache are not counted, so if your usage is high, consider upgrading to a higher plan.
IOPS
Shows the total number of reads/writes per second. When the limit is reached, reading/writing is stopped until the current second has passed.
disk usage
Shows disk usage.
For details, please refer to the article below.
How to check disk usage
Can I add more disk space?
bandwidth
Displays the amount of data transferred. Please refer to the article below for the estimated transfer volume for each plan.
Limitations on data transfer volume
If you need a larger transfer amount, please consider upgrading to a higher plan.
Addon domain
Shows the number of addon domain settings.
subdomain
Displays the number of subdomain settings.
alias
Displays the number of alias settings.
auto-reply email
Displays the number of automatic reply mail settings.
mailing list
Shows the configured number of mailing lists.
Mailing list disk usage
Shows the disk usage of the mailing list.
If it is insufficient, please consider upgrading to a higher plan.
MySQL database
Shows the number of MySQL database settings.
MySQL disk usage
Shows the disk usage of the MySQL database.
If it is insufficient, please consider upgrading to a higher plan.
email account
Displays the number of email account settings.
email filter
Displays the number of email filter settings.
forwarder
Displays the number of forwarders set.
FTP account
Displays the number of FTP account settings.
