How to forcibly reissue an SSL certificate

Attention

With mixhost, SSL certificates are automatically applied, so there is no need for customers to do anything.
If you want to issue it manually, please try to problem the SSL certificate manually first.

Please try the method described in this article only if you are having problems with externally obtained certificates, or if you have misconfigured your certificates manually and are encountering errors.

After following the steps in this article, your externally acquired certificate will be removed and replaced with our free SSL certificate.

Deleting an existing certificate: Part 1

Delete all related existing certificates as follows:

STEP 1: Log in to cPanel.

Log in to cPanel.

STEP 2: Open "SSL/TLS Status".

Open "SSL/TLS Status" in cPanel.

STEP 3: Select "View certificate".

Select View Certificate for the domain in question.

STEP 4: Uninstall the certificate.

Uninstall the certificate. Once the uninstall is complete, the certificate will be deleted.

Deleting an existing certificate: Part 2

STEP 1: Log in to cPanel.

Log in to cPanel.

STEP 2: Open "SSL/TLS".

Open "SSL/TLS" in cPanel.

STEP 3: Open "Certificates (CRT)".

Generate, view, upload, or delete an SSL certificate in Certificates (CRT). ].

STEP 4: Delete the certificate.

Find the certificate for the problem domain and perform the deletion.

*There may be more than one certificate. If there are multiple certificates for the relevant domain, delete all certificates.

Deleting existing keys

STEP 1: Log in to cPanel.

Log in to cPanel.

STEP 2: Open "SSL/TLS".

Open "SSL/TLS" in cPanel.

STEP 3: Open "private key (KEY)".

"Generate, view, upload, or delete a private key" in "Private Key (KEY)". ].

STEP 4: Delete the key.

Find the key for the problem domain and perform the deletion.

*The key will also delete all subdomains of the corresponding domain.

Delete authentication file

STEP 1: Log in to cPanel.

Log in to cPanel.

STEP 2: Open "File Manager".

View the document root of the domain in question.

STEP 3: Show hidden files.

Refer to the following article and change it so that hidden files that are hidden in the file manager can be displayed.

STEP 4: Delete the authentication file.

Delete the ".well-known" folder in the document root of the problematic domain.
